We built blnd inside an appraisal office
blnd started as the internal tooling of a busy independent appraisal office in the New York area: field appraisers, a desk, and assignments arriving from more portals every year. Each portal had its own login, its own one-time codes and its own place for the photos. Every claim number was typed three times. And when the inspections were done for the day, the estimates still had to be written.
So we automated the parts nobody should be doing by hand. First pulling the assignments in, then keeping the sessions alive, then drafting the estimate itself from the photos, line by line, in the format the estimating system already reads. The appraisers kept the judgement. The software took the typing.
blnd is that work, opened up to every independent appraiser and IA firm who juggles the same portals. Body shops are next.

Earn trust with what we don't do
Read-only by default, credentials encrypted, Gmail used for codes alone. The limits are the product as much as the features are.
